Historique :	R. Planchenault rapport le 21 août 1934 : Monsieur de Dainville, conservateur des AOA, signalait dès 1926 le mauvais état de la peinture sur toile représentant Le Voeu des consuls à l'occasion de la pest de 1622. Cette oeuvre dont la facture est assez bonne a surtout un châssis distendu et il serait bon au surplus de la nettoyer sans plus mais personne dans le département ne veu se risquer à entreprendre cette réparation pourtant assez simple. Il est pourtant excessif d'envoyer à Paris cette toile large de 6 m environ et haute de 2 [...] et dont l'intérêt est surtout local. Ne pourrait-on trouver à Marseille ou à Toulouse un restaurateur ? ou confier ce travail à un réparateur de Paris qui ferait une tournée dans la région. Dans ce cas, il conviendrait de confier à celui-ci le soin de réparer également les deux tableaux des Clermont-l'Hérault.
