Historique :	D'après l'abbé Cabrol et Jean-Marie Négri cet autel aurait été installé en 1857 et repris dans sa partie supérieure en 1892 (2e gradin et exposition).Une plaque commémorative au fond de la nef précise pourtant que Mgr de Cabrières, évêque de Montpellier, est venu le consacrer le 7 juillet 1894.
