Description :	1° un bronze, Neptune et trois chevaux marins, haut. totale 1.05, largeur à la base : 0.32. Hauteur de Neptune seul 1m00, hauteur des chevaux 0.28. Quelques raccomodages au moyen de petites pièces de bronze rapportées, mutilation des organes sexuels pour recevoir une feuille de vigne, manquent deux doigts à la main droite. La disproportion entre les chevaux et Neptune et le bras gauche de celui-ci me semblent indiquer un artiste de second ordre ; mais la fonte est absolument ancienne. Le groupe paraît être l'oeuvre d'un artiste local et présenter par cela seul un intérêt suffisant pour être réservé.(Rapport d'Henri Nodet du 28 septembre 1909 pour le Ministère des Beaux-Arts sur les objets d'art et statues conservées dans la propriété, Médiathèque de l'architecture et du patrimoine, Documentation objets mobiliers)
