Historique :	Ce portrait est censé représenter la marquise de Castries née de Lévis, seconde épouse de Joseph-François de Castries et leur fils, Charles-Eugène-Gabriel, futur maréchal de Castries. Le futur maréchal de Castries étant né en 1727, il s'agit de l'enfant ici représenté âgé d'environ trois ans. Le bâtiment représenté sur ce tableau serait l'hôtel de Castries à Paris. Ce portrait provient peut-être de la famille de Fleury.
