Historique :	Tableau exécuté vesr 1820. Armand-Charles-Auguste de Lacroix (1756-1842), premier duc de Castries, fils du maréchal et de la fille du 1er duc de Fleury, époux d'Adrienne de Bonnières, fille du duc de Guines ; son hôtel parisien de la rue de Varenne fut pillé en 1790 à cause de ses positions conservatrices ; il rejoignit son père en exil auprès de Louis XVIII. Pair de France sous la restauration.
